Kelly is helping spread the Tulsa commuinty spirit. She believes "doing a little on your part can go along way to helping someone in need." Camp OK Corral
Your American Cancer Society is proud to offer free summer camps for children with cancer. Staffed by pediatric oncologists and nurses to attend the children's needs, these camps provide a place for children in treatment or remission to become kids again through the summer camp experience. The camps allow the children to see they are not alone in their struggle and provide peer support for everyone involved. Camp OK Corral will take place in June at Shepherd's Ford Ranch in Avant, Oklahoma. Camp OK Corral is open to children between the ages of 6 and 18 years old. Siblings are also allowed to attend the camp.
Kelly has provided tie dying as a camp activity for the past 7 summers.



Big Brothers & Sisters of Green Country, Inc, is a private, not-for-profit organization that provides adult, one-to-one companionship for school-age youth from one-parent families in the greater Tulsa area. Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has a history of 100 years serving youth nationally. Since 1984, Big Brothers & Sisters of Green Country has continued this tradition of producing the best volunteers to help enable each child to become a productive citizen for the future.
Kelly has helped promote fund raising for this organization for two years now.




Waiting Child

News Channel 8 has aired its weekly "Waiting Child" program since 1980. The children featured are in permanent custody of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and are looking for adoptive homes. The children have special needs or are considered hard to place because of their age or because a sibling group wants to be adopted together.
Kelly became involved two years ago to help bring a smile to a waiting child's face and promote the program.
